Commitment to Local Manufacture
Embrace a long-term commitment to both manufacture and purchase other products that are locally manufactured. By investing in local production we are confident that we are able to significantly reduce our environmental impact caused by transportation and distribution.
Quality control and material certifications
Over 50% of our product range is made in Australia, allowing us to have direct control over the products we produce. All warehouses and manufacturing facilities associated with Castaway® products are level one HACCP accredited to safeguard the integrity of your food safety standards.
Suppliers are required to meet ISO9001 standards or equivalent criteria. As part of our commitment to sustainable sourcing, all raw paper material used in our manufacturing facilities requires Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC®) Certification, Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification™ (PEFC™), and/or Sustainable Forestry Initiative® (SFI®) Certification.
We are committed to improving and adopting environmental practices within our operations. Our innovative approach to product development allows us to continuously improve our products for a sustainable future, and minimise their impact on the environment.
As part of this, MPM Marketing Services is a signatory to the Australian Packaging Covenant and holds a long-term commitment to products that are manufactured locally. By investing in local production we can limit our environmental impact through the reduction in transportation and distribution of our products.
